Oppidan Education is the pioneering company championing children\'s mentorship. We are a community of 150+ mentors dedicated to changing the way children value their education, working one-to-one with families, online and in schools across the world. We now have several satellite offices in Thailand, the UAE and the U.S. The main office is a dynamic team of 12 based by the Thames in Hammersmith, London.

About the Role

We\'re looking for an exceptional Founders\' Associate to join Oppidan Education and play a pivotal role in shaping our international growth and commercial strategy. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the leadership team, drive expansion into new markets, and make a tangible impact across all areas of our business.

As our Founders\' Associate, you\'ll work closely with our founders, taking ownership of key growth initiatives while developing your skills across strategy and business development in the education sector.

Key Responsibilities

International Growth & Business Development

  • International expansion efforts particularly in Asia and Europe
  • Drive sales initiatives with international schools and private clients
  • Develop market entry strategies and build relationships with key stakeholders across the educational ecosystem

Activations & Lead Generation Support

  • Organise and oversee top-of-funnel parent focused marketing activations to drive new business including the planning and delivery of events such as \'Heads & Tales Live\'.
  • Develop and execute outreach campaigns to generate qualified leads across target markets including Thailand, Portugal, Korea, UAE and the U.S.

Podcast & Commercial Partnerships

· Heads & Tales growth & guest co-ordination.

· Sponsorship strategy development including building a paid partner list.

· Help develop subscriber base through strategic marketing and content initiatives.

Ambassador Programme Management

  • Manage and mentor our network of ambassadors (phased in first 6 months of the role).
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of ambassador performance.
  • Track revenue generation and cost analysis across the network.
  • Develop training programmes and support systems for ambassador success.

What We\'re Looking For

Experience & Background

· years of experience minimum in commercial strategy or business development, possibly from strategy consulting, ed-tech commercial growth or school business management.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

· Experience with international markets or global business development (preferred)

What We Offer

  • Salary:
    £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • Location:
    Hammersmith office, 3 days per week (hybrid working)
  • Start Date:

    January 2025, with (ideally) at least 2-3 days availability for handover in December with the current post holder.
  • At least two international trips per year to visit our key markets.
