What we are looking for:
We seek a pragmatic and diligent individual to join our EMEA Central Compliance team as a Junior Compliance Executive. The team supports all functions across the firm and collaborates with local compliance teams in EMEA.
This role focuses on supporting activities such as onboarding/offboarding regulated staff, reviewing and updating policies, and supporting recordkeeping activities. Key priorities include supporting firm-wide compliance, regulatory adherence, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Knowledge of UK/EU regulations and compliance requirements
- Project management experience (advantageous)
- Practical knowledge of regulations like SMCR, MiFID II (advantageous)
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
- Professional or vocational qualification in regulation and compliance (or interest in studying)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and high accuracy standards
- Data analytics experience (e.g., Power BI) (advantageous)
- Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
