Your Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Data Product Owner to lead the ABOR (Accounting Book of Record) Data Domain. This domain encompasses critical investment data sourced from Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) globally, including Positions, Transactions, Prices, NAVs, Flows, and more. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in investment management data, strong data product ownership skills, and a proven ability to drive data governance and quality initiatives.
You will be Responsible for:
- Own and manage the ABOR Data Domain, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and usability of investment data sourced from TPAs worldwide.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to define and prioritize data product roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives.
- Apply business and logical data modeling techniques to structure and optimize the data domain.
- Utilize SQL for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting; Snowflake expertise is a plus.
- Lead data governance efforts within the domain, including defining and enforcing data governance policies and standards.
- Identify and define critical data elements (CDEs) for the ABOR Data Domain and establish data quality rules and metrics to monitor and improve data quality.
- Engage with stakeholders across investment management, technology, and compliance teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Prepare and present clear, actionable roadmaps and status updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
The experience you Bring:
- Minimum 15 years of experience working with investment data, with at least 10 years as a Data Product Owner or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of investment management concepts, products, and workflows.
- Proficiency in business data modeling and logical data modeling.
- Solid SQL skills; experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in data governance practices, including policy development and application within data domains.
- Proven ability to identify critical data elements and implement data quality frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into business terms.
- Experience preparing strategic roadmaps and driving execution across cross-functional teams.
