OPORA is a registered British charity that helps Ukrainians build their lives in the United Kingdom. We provide information support in Ukrainian, help navigate new conditions, and assist in difficult or crisis situations. This is a voluntary unpaid activity that helps change the lives of others. At the same time, it is an opportunity for self-realisation, development of communication and professional skills, establishing useful connections, and strengthening the community.
In the OPORA team, volunteers are equal participants in a common cause, contributing daily to the support of Ukrainians. OPORA is opening recruitment for a team of Telegram chat administrators who provide information support to Ukrainians during their adaptation process in the UK. This is not a technical role; it is about communication, responsibility, and a desire to help. Training and support are guaranteed. We will teach you everything.
Responsibilities- Responding to questions from participants in the OPORA Telegram chat: info chat
- Providing verified, accurate answers with respect to individuals' life circumstances.
- Maintaining a friendly and constructive atmosphere in the chat
- Interacting with other volunteers and coordinators
- You must actually reside in the United Kingdom
- Format: remote
- Availability of at least 4 free hours per week (flexible schedule)
- Minimum of 3 months of volunteer participation
- Fluency in Ukrainian, with proficient written communication
- High level of responsibility, attentiveness, and ability to work with people
- Basic skills in information search and analysis
- Knowledge of English is desirable but not mandatory
- Age: 18 years and older
