We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), partnering with schools to ensure every child receives the care they deserve.

The Role:

Join our inclusive school in Hammersmith and Fulham and make a real difference. You will support students' academic, social, and emotional development, work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals in partner schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored lessons for students with SEND MLD and SLD
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students
  • Support the social and emotional development of students
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
  • Prepare and organise learning materials and resources
  • Monitor and record student progress, reporting to teachers
  • Support students during school activities, outings, and events
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and external agencies to support student needs

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience working with children from EYFS - KS2, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of SEND practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the school and students

The pay range advertised is based on employment through an umbrella company.
