A Primary School, part of a Multi-Academy trust, is seeking an exceptional Assistant Headteacher/Strategic SENCo to join their Senior Leadership Team from September 2025. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will:
- Lead the strategic development of SEND provision across the school;
- Champion inclusive practice and ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice;
- Oversee the SEND register and ensure effective support for pupils with EHCPs and additional needs;
- Drive school improvement through collaboration, innovation, and data-informed decisions;
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and external professionals;
- Play an active role in shaping whole-school strategy and leadership priorities.
About You:
- Holds QTS and preferably London-based classroom experience;
- Has experience across various leadership and/or teaching roles;
- Has a strong track record of improving outcomes for pupils with SEND;
- Demonstrates excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Is deeply committed to inclusion, equity, and raising aspirations for all;
- Brings energy, resilience, and a collaborative spirit to school leadership;
- Understands the importance of early intervention and adaptive teaching.
