Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery/SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the heart of Islington. This is a rewarding role where you will support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), including those with special educational needs (SEN), to ensure they receive the very best start to their education.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to children with SEN.
- Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging activities.
- Support children\’s social, emotional, and academic development.
- Help to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Liaise with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to track progress and share feedback.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children in a school or nursery setting (EYFS experience desirable).
- Understanding of SEN support strategies and a passion for helping children with additional needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach.
- Relevant childcare/teaching assistant qualifications (desirable but not essential).
