Design & Technology Teacher - North London

One of our Secondary Schoolsin the Islington Borough is looking for a Design and Technology Teacher, ideally specialising in Cooking and Nutrition ,to join their amazing team of staff supporting their students to excel. This is to cover the Summer 1 and 2 terms, with the likelihood of extension / permanency. There is also the potential for this role to turn into a Head of Department, for the right candidate. The Successful Candidate Will Have: Established experience as a Secondary Science Teacher in a classroom environment Experience in Design Technology, ideally Cooking and Nutrition Experience teaching KS3 – KS5 Be able to demonstrate strong classroom management and the ability to effectively handle a broad range of behaviours High levels of motivation, organisational skills and punctuality UK experience highly desirable Have a strong understanding of the curriculum and valuable teaching practices. Be able to inspire, motivate, and engage pupils including those with learning difficulties and SEND needs.
