Main Responsibilities
- Ensure correct use of quality tools by production staff for each quality incident
- Perform root cause analysis, define action plans, and implement containment measures
- Responsible for defining and releasing rework instructions and ensuring their application
- Participate in regular part rejection analysis with customers.
- Manage quality wall inspectors based on customer requirements or quality results.
- Conduct regular customer visits to build long-term relationships.
- Apply and coach the use of 8D and QRCM methods in production.
- Maintain the Customer Quality Fast Response Board and update FMEAs.
New Product Introduction
- Participate in PFMEA and control plan development with the PQL.
- Support the definition of limit samples and contribute to poka-yoke design for new products with the project team.
- Set up limit samples and Problem Alerts; organize training sessions with production leaders.
- Contribute to or lead initial PPAP submissions and customer run@rate together with the Site Quality Manager; support MPM during run@rate.
- Develop Standard Work (SPS, SWI) for all production processes in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering, CI, and HSE.
Process Control (Control Plan Adherence)
- Verify poka-yoke functionality at the start of each shift; escalate in case of non-compliance
- Monitor and follow up on quality production indicators.
- Participation in audits and reviews.
- Update, file, and archive all documents related to quality activities.
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in Quality Improvement Roadmap activities.
- Lead or contribute to working groups.
- Support implementation of preventive actions to avoid internal and customer issues.
Competencies & Requirements
- Degree in engineering or a technical field.
- Professional experience in quality management, preferably in the automotive supply industry.
- Strong knowledge of VDA 2, VDA 6.3, IATF 16949, FMEA, PPAP, and APQP.
- Understanding of materials science, plastics processing, and plastic painting.
- Experience in professional customer interaction.
- Strong in problem-solving, communication. Teamplayer.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SCOOP/SAP, SharePoint
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
