Responsibilities:
- Promote and foster a proactive safety culture within the area of responsibility
- Participate in industrialization, process optimization, and efficiency improvement projects
- Support the pre-project phase, including budget estimation, risk identification, and quotation preparation
- Design optimal material, information, and process flows (inbound, internal, and outbound logistics)
- Define optimal inventory levels and lead times
- Develop functional specifications for packaging solutions in collaboration with Engineering and Production teams
- Organize packaging tests, fine-tuning activities, and approval processes through to customer validation
- Support the interface and integration with IT systems
- Contribute to supplier selection processes (transportation, packaging, SILS, logistics platforms)
- Develop and document supply chain processes and conduct FMEAs and audits
- Support the plant during SOP (Start of Production) and ramp-up phases
Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Packaging Engineering, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in a similar position, preferably within the automotive industry
- Solid understanding of Lean Management principles and supply chain tools
- Good knowledge of mechanical fundamentals and the ability to use 3D viewer software
- Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office, SAP, and digital tools
- Customer-oriented mindset, strong team spirit, and ability to work independently
- Excellent intercultural and cross-functional communication skills
- Willingness to travel as required
- Fluent in (written and spoken)
