Mission
- Ensure that SCOOP (SAP) is properly used within the plant and work closely with operations departments to continuously enhance adherence to Core Model.
- Be the interface between the plant and the ITS organization.
- Line management of the SAP Controller & Master Data Technician.
SCOOP Activities
- Ensure that safety policies are understood and respected within his area of responsibilities.
- Ensure that SCOOP is properly used in the plant and related SILS.
- Lead the SCOOP Key-Users network on site.
- Coordinate the first level support with Key Users.
- Participate to support structure reviews.
- Have SCOOP users trained and assessed.
- Coordinate / lead local ITS Progress Plan (SAP).
- Manage impacts on SCOOP: new projects, new flows.
- Be the favourite contact between plant and central IS Department / external IS suppliers.
- Contribute to global SCOOP improvement action.
- Contribute actively to workshops, design of new tools, best practices with inputs from his site.
Master Data Activities
- Ensure the collection of technical information required for the creation of technical reports or for the management of technical databases (BOM provide part number and description).
- Is responsible (regarding the technical database management part) for the creation and update of data, for which he/she provides the management in the frame of process changes, product evolutions, new projects.
- Assist program teams to complete new/amend “Birth Certificates” SAP: article master, BOM, version, workstation, label type, planning product family, packaging information.
- Check the coherence of the collected and entered data.
- Inform the KU in charge of the other software (SQP MATTEC) about the creations and modifications in SAP.
- To ensure a common Master Database => in production, quality… xls file must use SAP part number and part description.
- Necessity to unify the databases and applies same rules when we give the name of the parts.
- Own “Birth Certificates” on behalf of Plant Operations.
- To be involved in material/process change (Engineering Change process) => Master Data is closely collaborating with Program Teams, Logistics and Production to ensure that all systems are updated on date when the change of material or process is starting.
- The same for the new project starting, Master Data must ensure that BOM is in line with the process and Information System which allows the production declaration.
- To support stock reliability actions => analyses of COGIs, audit plan of BOM (weight the injected parts, check consistency between BOM and the shopfloor).
- Be part of any required problem-solving teams.
- Responsible for both Birth Certificate and BOM accuracy monitor compliance.
- Responsible to train other users for example contractors who may assist at peak workloads.
