Oplu is leading the search for a Guest Relations Executive to join the Front of House team at a distinguished luxury country hotel and retreat in West Dorset.

This is a hands-on, high-touch guest experience role covering Reception, Marketing, Hospitality, and event support.

The successful candidate will lead the daily morning meeting, coordinate VIP and Media / PR trips, and act as the guest's primary point of contact across every department.

The role

  • Warm, personalised guest arrival, orientation, and departure
  • Mews profile management, guest preferences, and post-stay follow-up
  • Complaint and incident handling with discretion
  • Daily morning meeting leadership across all departments
  • On-the-day management of VIP stays, live events, and Media / PR trips
  • On-site F&B service support
  • Children's activity programming and seasonal events

  • Boutique or luxury hotel, country house, or private members' club background
  • Excellent guest-facing communication and presentation
  • Mews (or comparable PMS) fluency, POS, digital booking platforms
  • Basic Food Hygiene, HACCP, First Aid at Work, Fire Safety, Personal Alcohol Licence
  • Full driving licence and own car
  • Flexible shift pattern including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Right to live and work in the UK

Compensation

£30,000-£35,000 per annum (dependent on experience). Staff accommodation available in nearby Bridport.
