Oplu is leading a confidential search for an experienced Hedge Fund Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer of a leading London-based hedge fund. This is a senior EA position requiring excellent judgement, discretion and the ability to operate at pace. The role is office-based five days per week and a degree is essential.

The remit spans diary, travel, expenses, meetings, documentation and minutes, alongside project planning support, light research, inbox management, adoption of AI and productivity tools, and discreet personal administration. The COO is investor- and partner-facing, so the EA will need the gravitas to communicate credibly at senior stakeholder level. Private matters are part of the role, including liaison with the House Manager and relevant household contacts where required.

The successful candidate will be a proven Executive Assistant at senior level. This is not a step-up role.

Requirements:
  • Proven EA experience at senior level
  • Degree-educated (essential)
  • Native-level English fluency, spoken and written
  • Excellent diary, travel and expense management
  • Gravitas to influence at senior stakeholder level
  • Strong written communicator, problem-solver and high-EQ operator
  • Comfort with AI tools and mainstream productivity technology
  • Discreet, dependable and calm under pressure
  • Comfortable handling professional, private and household-related matters
  • Dry sense of humour and the ability not to take yourself too seriously
  • Hedge fund, investment management, private banking, private equity or family office experience a strong advantage
  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • Five days per week in office
