As Product Marketing Manager reporting to the Director of Products and Services, you will be responsible for the marketing of OPITO’s Products & Services portfolio through the full product marketing lifecycle, and for leading outbound product marketing activities that strengthen OPITO’s product brand, increase product adoption, and support strategic and commercial objectives. The postholder will translate product and programme capability into clear value propositions and messaging; lead go-to-market planning for launches and updates; develop and deliver multi-channel campaigns; and enable internal and external stakeholders (e.g., training centres, partners, and internal teams) with the content, tools and insights required to position OPITO products effectively in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyse customer, competitor, and market insights to inform product strategy, positioning, and planning.
  • Define value propositions and develop clear, compelling messaging and narratives tailored to target audiences and regions.
  • Lead the planning and execution of product launches and integrated marketing campaigns across relevant channels.
  • Create and maintain high-quality product marketing materials (e.g., web content, sales tools, case studies, campaigns).
  • Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to align messaging, support product adoption, and deliver communications and training.
  • Set KPIs, track product and campaign performance, and use insights to optimise marketing effectiveness and product uptake.
  • Support strategies for market expansion, product growth, and lifecycle management, including enhancements and repositioning.
  • Maintain marketing plans, trackers, and reporting; coordinate suppliers, meetings, and documentation to support delivery.
  • Support wider business initiatives, uphold organisational values, and undertake additional responsibilities as required.
  • Any other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility of this role.

  • Complying with relevant Company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Managing and maintaining controlled documents relating to Industry Standards.
  • Ensuring all Standards related processes and procedures are complied with at all times.
  • Contributing to the annual review of Standards ISO related processes and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities – Essential vs Desirable

Essential

  • Previous experience as a Product Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, or similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in market research and analysis.
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively with Marketing, Product, and Business Development teams to influence product development and external messaging.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, with the ability to secure buy-in and influence decisions.
  • Strong track record of taking ownership and delivering measurable results.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of product marketing tactics, including integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to support decision-making and evaluate outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, WebTrends).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • High attention to detail.

Desirable

  • Background in design and/or copywriting.
  • Understanding of the Energy sector and/or training and competency environments.
  • Relevant marketing and/or communications qualification (degree level or equivalent).
  • Ability to speak additional languages such as Spanish or Portuguese would be advantageous.

  • Occasional travel within the region and other regions as required.
  • Undertakes special projects as appropriate and fulfils other duties as may reasonably be required by the company, in line with the incumbent’s skills, knowledge, abilities and personal development opportunities.
