WE BUILD:
You will be part of an engineering team working on a major German media network. The team supports a multi-purpose subscription & payment service, crucial to several client products. Our architecture is microservices-based, ensuring scalability and rapid feature development, utilizing AWS Serverless solutions like Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, AppSync, API Gateway, and infrastructure as code with Serverless Framework. We maintain 100% unit test coverage, and as a QA engineer, you will handle end-to-end and performance testing.
BEING PART OF THE TEAM:
- Investigate product quality to improve customer satisfaction.
- Provide tools and processes for thorough testing and rapid deployment.
- Create, write, and execute automation scripts, supporting manual testing of our web platform.
- Drive quality improvements in an agile, continuous learning environment.
POWER YOU BRING:
- At least 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience testing APIs without frontend interfaces.
- Enjoy sharing testing expertise with development teams.
- Agile mindset, structured work style, and strong teamwork/problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English (C1); German is a plus.
- Preferable: Understanding of BDD beyond just writing tests.
- Experience in web test automation using TS, JS.
- Familiarity with Playwright or Cypress.
