Are you an experienced Manager who wants real influence, autonomy and the chance to shape high‐quality sexual health services for local communities? We are looking for a confident and values‐led Sexual Health Service Manager to lead the Cheshire West and Chester Sexual Health Service. This is a senior leadership role where you will take full responsibility for service delivery, people leadership, performance and quality, working closely with our General Manager and Clinical Leads. This role will suit someone with a strong background in health or social care management who enjoys leading multidisciplinary teams, balancing quality with performance, and building services that are accessible, inclusive and genuinely patient‐centred.

You will join a supportive and experienced leadership team, working across an integrated sexual health service that plays a vital role in improving public health outcomes. You will have the autonomy to lead your service while being backed by a large, established organisation with strong governance, learning and wellbeing support.

As Sexual Health Service Manager, you will lead and manage a multidisciplinary team delivering a comprehensive, high‐quality sexual health service across Cheshire West and Chester. You will be accountable for operational delivery, performance, quality, finance and workforce, ensuring services meet contractual, regulatory and patient expectations. With support from HCRG Care Group, you will act as the CQC Registered Manager, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining robust governance arrangements. You will foster a positive, inclusive culture where colleagues feel supported, developed and engaged, and where patient experience is at the heart of everything we do.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing visible, values‐led leadership to clinical and non‐clinical teams
  • Holding overall accountability for service performance, KPIs and quality outcomes
  • Managing the service budget and financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Using data, insight and feedback to drive continuous service improvement
  • Ensuring services are safe, confidential, accessible and responsive to diverse communities
  • Working collaboratively with Clinical Leads to support clinical governance and supervision
  • Leading workforce development, including performance management, appraisals and talent development
  • Building strong relationships with commissioners, partners and community organisations
  • Supporting service development, innovation and strategic planning in line with public health priorities
  • Representing the service at senior meetings and contractual performance reviews

Willing to obtain CQC Registered Manager status. Significant experience leading teams within health or social care. Proven experience managing KPIs, contracts and complex performance data. Strong financial and budget management experience. Excellent leadership, communication and influencing skills. Experience implementing and leading change across services. Demonstrable track record of delivering safe, effective and well‐governed services. Ability to work autonomously and make sound operational and strategic decisions. Confident using IT systems and digital reporting tools. Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle. Degree or postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience. Extensive experience in health or social care management at a senior level. Experience leading large‐scale change or service transformation. Knowledge of community health or sexual health services. Experience of service marketing, innovation or business development.
