Purpose: Help us to deliver great primary care by improving access, outcomes and patient experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide care for presenting patients from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
- Demonstrate safe, clinically accurate decision‑making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.
- Work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in a Primary Care setting.
- NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice, or working towards non‑medical prescriber.
- Minor injury and illness qualification essential and ability to maintain and monitor standards of care.
- Preferred: level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, or candidates with accreditation or an MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.
