Location: Brunswick Medical Centre

Salary: Up to £28,000.00 depending on experience – salary will be pro‑rata

Hours: 22.5 hours per week

Job responsibilities:

  • Assisting with patient duties and supporting other team members, including clinical staff and the Nurse Lead, with patient care.
  • Supporting the practice with duties related to CQC outcomes and ensuring ongoing compliance.
  • Working with patients who have long‑term conditions such as diabetes, and performing phlebotomy procedures.
  • Providing clinical procedures such as new patient health checks, BMI, blood pressure, pulse and simple wound care.
  • Completing administrative tasks, including new patient registrations, distributing leaflets, stock control and ordering supplies.

Ideal candidate:

  • Experience in a primary care setting and phlebotomy skills.
  • Ability to work within established processes and procedures, maintaining confidentiality and data security.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and able to communicate in a personable, polite and patient manner with patients.
  • Basic PC skills (Word, Excel, email) and the ability to use own judgement while recognising professional boundaries.
