Main Responsibilities
As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:
- Leading on key disease areas such as monitoring trends in the Quality and Outcomes Framework, Diabetes 8 Care Processes, Triple Target control, immunisation uptake, screening uptake, local KPIs, staff training and prescribing, and assisting in developing appropriate healthcare services for a diverse patient list.
- Having responsibility for overall practice performance to deliver care in line with contracted values, locally and nationally enhanced schemes; attending and representing Operose Health in locality and GP Federation meetings.
- Working in partnership with the practice manager to attain all CQC, local and contracted requirements.
- Ensuring that SEAs and incidents are appropriately investigated and fed back, establishing a strong safety culture.
Ideal Candidate
- An experienced doctor with GP accreditation.
- Current registration with the GMC and NHS performers list (with no conditions preventing working or restrictions on practice).
- Record of on-going CPD and learning.
- MRCGP examination or equivalent experience.
- Clear commitment to delivering quality and patient‑focused services.
