Location: Integrated Urgent Care – GP HUB, Croydon

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Hours: 36 hours part‑time (9‑hour days, 1–4 days per week)

Operose Health runs the Croydon GP Hubs, providing urgent, on‑the‑day care for patients with minor illnesses or injuries. The role works alongside General Practitioners and other Advanced Nurse Practitioners to deliver primary care services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take initial history, conduct clinical assessment, diagnose, treat and evaluate care for presenting patients.
  • Apply safe, evidence‑based clinical decision‑making and expert care for a wide range of general practice patients.
  • Collaborate with the GP Hub team to meet patient needs, support policy and procedure delivery, and provide nurse leadership when required.
  • Serve as an independent and supplementary prescriber.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experienced nurse with proven clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and patient‑care evaluation skills.
  • Fulfil National Medical Council (NMC) requirements for advanced practice.
  • Registered as an independent prescriber and supplementary prescriber.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking in clinical decision‑making and the ability to work collaboratively with the clinical lead and team.
