Hours: 4 sessions per week
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver high quality clinical care to the patients registered and attending the GP surgery.
- Work closely with the clinical leads and local practice team to support the delivery of the surgery's operational plan.
- Maintain quality within the practice ensuring participation in clinical governance activity.
- Contribute to the improvement in quality health outcomes through audit and the Quality and Outcomes Framework.
- Provide clinical care to patients as described in the job plan and in line with the total triage model, including consultation sessions (both in person and by video), telephone triage, correspondence, results, medication reviews, prescription signing, safeguarding lead, medicals, reports, home visits, surgery meetings, and on-call (excluding out of hours).
- Adhere to the highest personal and professional standards as set out by the GMC and prioritise individual patient care.
- Support the development, delivery, and review of the surgery action plan with the Practice Manager and site clinical lead.
Ideal Candidate:
- Current registration with GMC and NHS performers list and engaged in regular clinical work.
- An experienced doctor with GP accreditation – MRCGP examination or equivalent experience.
- Clear commitment to delivering quality and patient-focused services.
- Sound knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs, and use of appropriate coding.
- Ideally have a working knowledge of clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb.
Package Description:
- Annual salary of up to £112,500 depending on experience and £11,000 per session for newly qualified GPs.
- Full indemnity cover.
- Six weeks annual leave and one week study leave pro rata.

- Support with a Tier 2 visa if required, subject to approval by the GMC and GP Performers List.
