Hours: 4 to 7 sessions Main Responsibilities As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include: Deliver high‑quality clinical care to patients registered and attending the GP surgery and work closely with the clinical leads and local practice team to support the delivery of the surgery’s operational plan.
Maintain practice quality, participate in clinical governance activity, and contribute to improving quality of health outcomes through audit, the Quality and Outcomes Framework, and other quality standards such as CQC standards.
Provide clinical care to patients as described in the job plan and in line with the triage model, including consultation sessions (in person and by video), telephone triage, correspondence, results, medication reviews, prescription signing, clinical administration, safeguarding lead, medicals, reports, home visits, surgery meetings and on‑call (excluding out of hours).
Adhere to the highest personal and professional standards set by the GMC and prioritise individual patient care.
Work with the Practice Manager and site clinical lead to support the development, delivery and review of the surgery action plan – including list growth, patient satisfaction, QOF, enhanced services, KPI targets, resource profile and cost management.
Ideal Candidate Current registration with GMC and NHS Performers List and engaged in regular clinical work.
Experienced doctor with GP accreditation – MRCGP examination or equivalent experience.
Clear commitment to delivering quality, patient‑focused services.
Sound knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and use of appropriate coding.
Working knowledge of clinical systems such as Systm One or EMISweb is desirable.
Package Description Annual salary of up to £112,500 depending on experience and £11,000 per session for newly qualified GPs.
