Main Responsibilities

  • Provide care for presenting patients from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
  • Demonstrate safe clinical decision‑making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills within general practice.
  • Collaborate with the general practice team to meet patient needs, supporting delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required.

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in a Primary Care setting.
  • NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice skills, working towards non‑medical prescribing.
  • Minor injury and illness qualification essential, and ability to maintain and monitor standards of care.
  • Preferred: Level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, or candidates with accreditation or an MSc course toward ACP status.

Package Description

  • Annual salary of up to £60,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
  • 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays pro rata.
  • 1 week paid CPD/study leave pro rata per year and in‑house CPD training sessions.

Person Specification

  • NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice skills, minor injury and illness qualification, and preferably a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner or working towards ACP status.
