Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality clinical care to patients registered and attending the GP surgery; work with clinical leads and local practice team to support the surgery's operational plan.
- Maintain quality and participate in clinical governance; contribute to improving health outcomes through audit and the Quality and Outcomes Framework; support the practice in achieving CQC standards.
- Provide clinical care as described in the job plan and in line with the total triage model, including consultations (in person and video), telephone triage, correspondence, results, medication reviews and prescription signing, and other clinical administration, safeguarding lead, medicals, reports, home visits, meetings and on-call (excluding out of hours).
- Adhere to GMC standards and place individual patient care as a priority.
- Support development, delivery and review of the surgery action plan with the Practice Manager and site clinical lead, including list growth, patient satisfaction, QOF, enhanced services, KPI targets, resource planning and cost management.
- Ideal Candidate
- Current GMC registration and NHS performers list; engaged in regular clinical work.
- GP accreditation (MRCGP or equivalent).
- Commitment to delivering quality and patient-focused services.
- Knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and appropriate coding.
- Working knowledge of clinical systems such as Systm One or EMIS Web.
Package Description
- Annual salary up to Β£112,500 depending on experience; Β£11,000 per session for newly qualified GPs.
- Full indemnity cover.
- Six weeks annual leave and one week study leave pro rata.

- Support with a Tier 2 visa if required, subject to GMC and GP Performer List approval.
