CassonX are thrilled to be EXCLUSIVELY partnering with this Equity Long/Short Hedge Fund that specialises in European markets. Currently boasting $300m AUM, supporting SMAs and launching a co-mingled very soon, this small business offers good performance so far and prides itself with attracting outstanding individuals.
They offer incredible rewards with high‐achievers earning 100% bonuses. This role has become available because the current incumbent is moving internally into an AI and Risk focussed position, demonstrating how wonderful the COO is in supporting their employees' careers. This role is 5 days a week in the office.
To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone who is willing to do a 'hands on' standalone role acting as their Head of Operations. Your Equities knowledge will ideally be gained from another Hedge Fund, but they would consider those from traditional Asset Management or Prime Middle Office backgrounds.
What is essential is that whilst they use Enfusion, they have already automated a lot with Python and built dashboards with PowerBI. Having technical knowledge of Python in particular is distinctly advantageous; however, they are willing to sponsor someone to learn Coding or AI tools to help further their automations, should that be something you wish to learn. Degree education is also required to be considered.
Demonstrable experience of various types of projects like onboarding new brokers, selecting new prime brokers, launching new SMAs, identifying and implementing new systems, or maybe even outsourcing are all skills CassonX will be looking for on a CV.
Working very closely with the Investment and senior leadership team, this varied role will see you support all aspects of Trade and Position Management, perform various investigations post reconciliations (cash, positions, trades and NAVs) with Prime Brokers and Fund Administrators, Corporate Actions and Income, Cash Management / Funding, Controls and Processes, internal Risk Reporting, Data Management, Projects and Process Improvements.
Where there is so much automation, and the bulk of the asset classes traded is Cash Equities (there is a little single equity CFD, equity options and index options), this role will see you be a safe and reliable set of hands, with experience of changing and enhancing where necessary. The COO would like to delegate all Operations responsibilities to the successful incumbent.
A detailed job specification is available to those who submit a relevant CV.
CassonX Limited are committed to providing fair employment opportunities to all applicants. We encourage anyone to apply, regardless of their background, and promote a fair and inclusive recruitment process based on merit. If you require any assistance throughout the interview process to improve your experience, kindly let us know.
