Our Client is a newly registered 4-bed residential children's home that supports children and young people aged 7-17 who have emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and complex needs. The Role
We are seeking caring, resilient, and motivated Residential Support Workers. You will play a vital role in the daily lives of our young people, helping them to develop life skills, build resilience, and achieve their goals within a therapeutic, trauma-informed environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in accordance with their individual care and placement plans.

Essential Criteria
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it within 2 years).
- Experience working with children or young people, preferably in a residential or social care setting.
- Understanding of safeguarding, EBD, and trauma-informed approaches.
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in challenging situations.
- Good communication, teamwork, and record-keeping skills.
- A genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people.
- Undergo an enhanced DBS check.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience in an Ofsted-regulated children's home.
- Training in Safeguarding, First Aid, or de-escalation techniques.
- Familiarity with The Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
- Full UK driving licence.
