Our Client is a newly registered 4-bed residential children’s home that supports children and young people aged 7–17 who have emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and complex needs. The mission is to create a safe, nurturing, and consistent home where children feel valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their potential. The Role

We are seeking caring, resilient, and motivated Residential Support Workers. You will play a vital role in the daily lives of our young people, helping them to develop life skills, build resilience, and achieve their goals within a therapeutic, trauma-informed environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new home during its early stages and make a real difference to children’s lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in accordance with their individual care and placement plans.
  • Build trusting, positive relationships that promote emotional wellbeing and personal growth.
  • Support children with daily routines, including education, leisure, health, and independent living skills.
  • Promote and maintain a safe, nurturing, and consistent environment.
  • Encourage positive behaviour through understanding, empathy, and therapeutic approaches such as PACE.
