Job Description
IT Technician / Computer Hardware Engineer to do Field Service
EPOS Field Service Engineer
Looking for someone confident on PC hardware to undertake swap outs of IT and EPOS equipment (electronic point of sale – till systems) for well-known retail brands across Essex, an ideal home location would be around the Bromley, Dartford / BR or DA Postcode area.
You must have a full manual driver’s licence to apply for this role.A fully expensed company van is provided.
You will be required to drive to multiple sites per day, to attend field service calls on the IT and EPOS equipment in the client's customer's stores.
Training on EPOS hardware will be given.
The role requires work 5 days out of 7 to cover Saturday and Sunday, on 1 in 2 Saturdays, 1 in 3 Sundays.
Standard hours 0900 – 17:30, overtime is paid outside of this.
Package of £28503 + Van + overtime; made up of a Basic salary of £26200 basic + Outer London Weighting £1350 and shift / rotation on call payments of around £953 per annum.
You will be the Evening On Call Engineer, currently 1 week in 6, where you work 12:00 – 20:00 + emergency on call until 22:00.
This is a 40 hours per week full time PAYE contract.
For any additional hours worked, overtime is paid at x1.5 Mon – Saturday and x2 Sunday and bank holidays (most Engineers do £3000 per annum in overtime).
This is a full-time permanent job with a fully expensed company van (with personal use), pension, paid holiday, and private medical insurance.
