Looking for someone confident on PC hardware to undertake swap outs of IT and EPOS equipment (electronic point of sale - till systems) for well-known retail brands mostly in the East London / Essex area: E, IG, RM or CM Postcodes, towns like: Ilford, Romford, Brentwood etc.
You must have a full manual driver’s licence to apply for this role. A fully expensed company van is provided. You will be required to drive to multiple sites per day, to attend field service calls on the IT and EPOS equipment in the client's customer’s stores. Training on EPOS hardware will be given.
The role requires work 5 days out of 7 to cover Saturday and Sunday, on 1 in 2 Saturdays, 1 in 3 Sundays. Standard hours are 09:00 - 17:30, overtime is paid outside of this.
Package of £27,550 - £29,050 + Van + overtime; made up of a Basic salary of £26,200 + £1,350 for outer or £2,850 Inner London Weighting and shift/rotation. You will be the Evening On Call Engineer 24/7, 1 week in 4. Standard hours for the on call week will be 20:00 - 00:00, 4 hours as standard working hours, then on call from 00:00 - 08:00. This attracts on call payment of an additional £3,900 per annum (this takes the likely annual earnings to £31,450 - £32,950 + any overtime).
This is a 40 hours per week full time PAYE contract. For any additional hours worked, overtime is paid at x1.5 Mon - Saturday and x2 Sunday and bank holidays (most Engineers do £3,000+ per annum in overtime). This is a full-time permanent job with a fully expensed company van (with personal use), pension, paid holiday, and private medical insurance.
