Job Description
EPOS Field Service / Data Cabling Installations Engineer
Looking for an experienced Field Engineer to join a growing UK wide team who undertake new openings projects and service maintenance work for IT and EPOS systems within mostly restaurants and hospitality environments across the UK.
This role is to cover projects and service calls within the Midlands area primarily.
Applicants for this role must be flexible as if there is no work locally, you will travel to support other areas. This may include occasional overnight stays.
Standard hours are 40 hours per week, with all are hours paid including travel time, so there is plenty of overtime potential. Premium rates of x1.5 apply to any hours after 19:00.
Work is scheduled Mon β Friday, there is work available at the weekend, currently this is voluntary.
To apply for this role you must have:
- Previous experience assisting on similar installations projects, Cat 5 / 6 data cabling, terminating and testing.
- Be physically confident using ladders, drills and hand tools.
- Be confident setting up computers on networks.
- Full UK drivers licence (with max 6 points)
- Live in the West or East Midlands area
Useful experience would include:
- Previous EPOS systems experience
- Any site safety cards e.g. ECS, CSCS, IPAF etc.
Salary:
- Basic Β£31000 for 40 hours Mon β Fri, 8 hours a day.
- Expensed business use co. van with all tools, uniform, PPE, expenses credit card & fuel card, phone and laptop all provided.
