IT Technician / Computer Hardware Engineer to do Field Service. Looking for someone confident on PC hardware to undertake swap outs of IT and EPOS equipment (electronic point of sale - till systems) for well-known retail brands across the East side of London area. An ideal home location would be anywhere around in an E, IG or RM Post code.
You must have a full manual driver's licence to apply for this role. A fully expensed company van is provided. You will be required to drive to multiple sites per day, to attend field service calls on the IT and EPOS equipment in the client's customer's stores. Training on EPOS hardware will be given.
The role requires work 5 days out of 7 to cover Saturday and Sunday, on 1 in 2 Saturdays, 1 in 3 Sundays. Standard hours 0900 - 17:30, overtime is paid outside of this.
Package of £28,503 - £30,003 + Van + overtime; made up of a Basic salary of £26,200 and shift / rotation on call payments of around £953 per annum and either £1,350 Outer or £2,850 Inner London Allowance.
You will be the Evening On-Call Engineer, currently 1 week in 6, where you work 12:00 - 20:00 standard hours + emergency on call until 22:00. This is a 40 hours per week full time PAYE contract. For any additional hours worked, overtime is Mon - Saturday and x2 Sunday and bank holidays (most Engineers do £3,000 per annum in overtime).
This is a full-time permanent job with a fully expensed company van (with personal use), pension, paid holiday, and private medical insurance.
