To join the South East team, we are looking for an experienced Data Comms Engineer to deliver a range of projects from small additional infrastructure projects, like an extra Wireless AP, to full data cabling infrastructure from the patch panel to data module installations for new store openings of supermarkets and retail stores.

We are ideally looking for an Engineer based in the North Kent/SE London/Surrey area. This Data Cabler role is to join the full-time permanent team. Where possible you will be attending clients' sites in the local area; if there is no work locally, you must be willing to travel and, occasionally, stay away (all expenses paid).

Basic salary for 37.5 hours is £27,788 to £32,175 + lots of overtime potential (around £5K extra), fully expensed company van provided (business use), pension, paid holiday. Any overtime Mon-Fri is at x1.25 and is paid door to door. Overnight work all hours are at x1.25, weekends are 1.5 all hours. 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays. Fully expensed company van.

  • Previous experience on Data Cabling Installations Projects (ideally in retail environments).
  • Be flexible to travel UK wide and occasionally do overnight stays.
  • Be flexible to work evenings and nights.
  • Applicants with CSCS or ECS Cards, IPAF/PASMA Tickets and accreditations for Data Cabling Cat5, Cat6 and Cat7 preferred, although training will be offered.
