Carpenter / Fire Door Engineer Looking for an experienced Carpenter to mostly do remedials, service and maintain work on fire doors that have been found to be non-compliant with new regulations. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has knowledge of Fire Doors although training can be offered. This is a full-time permanent role with expensed co. van, tools, uniform, expenses credit card etc. The work is across the South Coast from Southampton to Brighton. An ideal home location would be anywhere around Havant / Portsmouth / Chichester. The client is a large social housing association with 100's of blocks of flats and MDU properties. The Employer holds BM Trada Fire Door Certification and is a specialist in Fire Life Safety Systems company. Service calls are 1-2 man jobs depending on nature of issues, you will mostly work on your own. Standard hours Mon - Friday 08:30 - 16:30. Salary depending on experience £38 - £40K + Van, paid holidays, pension, and business use company van.
