Pastoral & Behaviour Support - Ashford, Surrey
Secondary School | Part-Time (Wed-Fri) | Early November until Christmas Break
Horizon Teachers is looking for a confident, resilient Pastoral and Behaviour Support Assistant to join a well-regarded secondary school in Ashford, Surrey on a fixed-term basis. This is a hands-on role supporting students and staff in the run-up to Christmas, with a mix of pastoral work and general cover.
The role:
- Pastoral and behaviour support, with some general cover supervision
- Wednesday to Friday (3 days a week)
- Start: beginning of November, running until the Christmas break
- Supporting students with behaviour, engagement, and wellbeing
- Competitive daily rate, dependent on experience
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in a pastoral, behaviour support, or cover supervisor role in a secondary setting
- Is confident managing challenging behaviour calmly and consistently
- Builds positive relationships quickly with students and staff
- Is reliable, adaptable, and happy to step into cover when needed
- Holds an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to obtain one)
