The Head Teacher of a Primary School in Whitworth is looking for a Year 6 Teacher to join them in January 2026 to cover until the end of the academic year. This role will also be advertised, so there is an opportunity for this to become a permanent position for the correct candidate.

Key Requirements for this role:

  • Teaching experience in Key Stage 2 (Year 6)
  • Experience supporting SATS preparation
  • Experience working with SEND is preferred but not essential
  • Passionate about teaching children of all levels and with all different needs
  • Relevant Teacher qualification, with QTS
  • Having a valid DBS on the update service would be of an advantage, but not essential (we can apply for one on your behalf!)
