This is a long-term role starting in September, working with primary-aged pupils aged 3–11 with Autism, speech and language needs and associated complex needs in a setting that places personalised learning and communication at the very heart of everything it does.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Planning and delivering creative, play-based and differentiated lessons for pupils with Autism and communication needs
  • Supporting the development of early communication, social skills and independence in young learners
  • Working with EHCPs and personalised targets alongside a dedicated team of teachers and therapists
  • Building warm, trusting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
  • Contributing to a structured, engaging and nurturing classroom where every child feels they belong

What We're Looking For

  • QTS and experience in a primary SEN, specialist or resource base setting
  • Knowledge of working with young children with Autism, speech and language needs or complex needs
  • A patient, nurturing approach and a genuine love of early and primary education
  • Commitment to helping every child achieve their potential in their own unique way
