Are you organised, practical, and interested in supporting science education within a secondary school setting? We are currently recruiting a Science Technician for a successful secondary school in Kingston Upon Thames. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a science background who enjoys working behind the scenes to support engaging and safe practical lessons.

As a Science Technician, you will work closely with the science department to prepare equipment, maintain resources, and support the smooth running of practical science lessons.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparing and setting up equipment for science lessons
  • Maintaining laboratory resources and materials
  • Supporting teachers with practical demonstrations and experiments
  • Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Assisting with stock control and organisation of the science department
