Horizon Teachers are working with our client in North London as they look to add an experienced and reliable caretaker to their team. We are seeking a reliable caretaker to help ensure the school environment remains well maintained and welcoming to all visitors.
Responsibilities of the School Caretaker will include but not be limited to:
- Monitoring all areas of health and safety compliance and reporting back at school meetings.
- Overseeing contractors and signing for and allocating deliveries when requested.
- Checking systems such as fire alarms on a weekly basis.
The Ideal Candidate must have:
- Previous experience in a school-based caretaking job role.
- Practical DIY skills.
- Thorough understanding of all health and safety procedures.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own time.
