Horizon Teachers are seeking a qualified and experienced Room Leader to join a welcoming and well-established Montessori nursery in Romford, on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Level 3+ qualified Early Years professional with at least two years’ experience, who is confident stepping into a leadership role and supporting the day-to-day running of a busy room. You will work closely with the Nursery Manager to maintain a high standard of physical and emotional care, ensuring a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for all children.
The ideal Room Leader will:
- Hold a Level 3 Childcare / Early Years qualification (or above)
- Have at least two years’ experience working in an Early Years setting
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Be enthusiastic, reliable and hard-working
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills
- Be confident supporting staff and managing a room effectively
Role details:
- Full-time (Monday to Friday)
- 8-hour shifts
- No weekends
Setting: Day Nursery / Preschool / Private Nursery School
Work location: In person (Romford)
