Are you an experienced and enthusiastic primary teacher looking for a part-time opportunity? A welcoming primary school in Southwark is seeking a passionate Class Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis from September 2026. This opportunity offers the chance to work within a supportive job-share partnership, with a highly experienced teacher. This is an ideal role for an experienced teacher who thrives on creativity, values teamwork, and is looking to be part of a school where both staff and pupils are encouraged to flourish.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging, inspiring, and creative lessons.
  • Work closely with your teaching partner to provide consistency and continuity for pupils.
  • Share planning responsibilities, allowing for a collaborative and balanced workload.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide meaningful feedback to colleagues and senior leaders.
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community and team culture.

We Are Looking for Someone Who:

  • Holds relevant teaching qualifications and has proven primary teaching experience.
  • Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Has experience across a range of primary year groups and enjoys being adaptable.
  • Is an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills.
