Horizon Teachers are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maths Teacher to deliver one-to-one lessons to students with diverse needs, including those with SEND. In this role, you will have the opportunity to teach and support students who are unable to attend mainstream schooling, helping them engage with Maths Studies through tailored and accessible lessons.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver individualised Maths lessons that are aligned with the student's academic level and learning objectives.
- Teach a range of topics at GCSE or equivalent levels.
- Ability to promote mathematical understanding, engagement and motivation in students.
- Remain patient and flexible in the approach to learning by adapting lesson content and teaching methods to support students with SEND and other learning challenges.
- Track and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and staff.
