Location: Redbridge Pay: Up to £600 per week Hours: 30 hours per week Start Date: ASAP Horizon Teachers are currently working with a welcoming Primary School in Redbridge who are looking for a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join their premises team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Site Manager to support the day-to-day operation, maintenance and security of the school, ensuring the premises remain safe, clean and welcoming for pupils, staff and visitors. Key Responsibilities: Carry out general maintenance, minor repairs and routine checks across the school site. Assist with opening, closing and securing the school buildings when required. Support with cleaning duties and maintaining internal and external areas. Assist with deliveries, moving furniture and setting up rooms for school events and lettings. Report maintenance, security and health & safety concerns and maintain relevant site records.The Ideal Candidate: Previous caretaking, premises or facilities experience, ideally within a school environment. Good practical maintenance skills with a proactive and hands-on approach.
