Role: Primary Teacher Location: Redbridge Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm Pay: £206 – £268 per day (depending on experience) Start: ASAP | Duration: Full-time with potential to continue into next academic year About the schoolWe're working with a warm, welcoming and inclusive primary school in Redbridge looking for a confident, nurturing KS1/KS2 Teacher The school values strong routines, positive behaviour management and high expectations, and wants a teacher who can deliver engaging lessons while supporting all learners to make progress. Key responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the Year 1 curriculum, including English, maths and foundation subjects. Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEN and ASD. Monitor, assess and record pupil progress and use data to inform planning and interventions. Work closely with teaching assistants, the SENCO and parents to support pupil wellbeing and attainment. Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes learning and good behaviour.What we're looking for QTS (or equivalent) with experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with young children. Experience adapting lessons for pupils with SEN, including ASD. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach with staff and parents.
