Horizon Teachers are working with an excellent SEND school based in Hackney who are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant with SEND on a daily cover basis, starting ASAP. This will be in the view that should the school be a good fit for you and you are a good fit for the school, this could lead to a long-term position within the school and quite possibly a permanent contract.
This role will involve providing 1:1 support for children between the ages of 3-19 years with Special Educational Needs, helping them access the curriculum and fully engage in school life. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support team to ensure the pupil receives the tailored support they need to thrive both academically and socially.

About the Role as a Teaching Assistant:- Providing 1:1 support for pupils with SEND supporting their learning and development.
- Supporting the children to remain engaged and focused during lessons.
