Part‑Time School Support Staff – Southall

Location

Southall, West London (accessible via Elizabeth Line and local bus routes)

Part‑time (25 hours per week), term‑time only (TTO)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver 1:1 support to pupils to overcome learning barriers and boost confidence.
  • Lead small‑group literacy and numeracy interventions under teacher guidance.
  • Proactively manage classroom behaviour using the school's positive behaviour policy.
  • Prepare bespoke learning materials and interactive resource packs for student needs.
  • Escort and supervise pupils during playground, lunchtime, and school trips.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience working with children in school, tutoring or childcare setting.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills with a patient, empathetic personality.
  • Mandatory Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • Teaching roles require QTS or equivalent (unless not teaching).
