School Administration Officer – Beckenham
Location: Beckenham, Southeast London
Contract: Term Time Only
Hours: 36 hours per week
Pay: £14.25 – £18.00 per hour, depending on experience
Start Date: 21 September 2026
Horizon Teachers are recruiting for an experienced School Administration Officer to join a primary school in Beckenham. This is a varied role supporting the effective day-to-day running of the school office and providing high-quality administrative support to staff, pupils and parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide efficient administrative and clerical support across the school office
- Maintain accurate pupil information, attendance and computerised school records
- Support admissions, pupil transfers and other pupil-related administration
- Provide administrative support to the Headteacher and senior leadership team
- Assist with finance, orders, invoices, staff records and general school office processes
Requirements
- Previous administration experience, ideally within an education or school environment
- Experience using Arbor or a similar school Management Information System (MIS)
- Strong IT, communication and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
