About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning within either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. You will create a positive and stimulating classroom environment where pupils feel motivated, challenged and supported to succeed.
Main Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively
- Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Support the academic, social and emotional development of all pupils
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external professionals
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school community
- Participate fully in staff meetings, CPD and school events
- Uphold safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of children at all times
About You
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching within a primary school setting
- Demonstrates strong classroom management skills

- Has high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
- Is reflective, enthusiastic and committed to continuous professional development
