EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Hounslow | Start Date: 7th September 2026 | Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm | Salary: £515 – £550 per week

Main Duties
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative EYFS lessons and activities.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to support learning and development.
- Help create a positive, safe and stimulating classroom environment.
- Encourage children's social, emotional and communication development through play-based learning.
- Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources and displays.
- Observe children's progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
- Support pupils with personal care where required.
- Promote positive behaviour and help children develop independence and confidence.
- Work closely with teachers, support staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
About You
- Have previous experience working with children within an EYFS setting (essential).
- Be passionate about supporting young children during the early stages of their education.
- Be proactive, reliable and willing to contribute to the wider school community.
- Hold an EYFS or relevant childcare qualification (desirable but not essential).
- Have a genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide original qualifications before placement.
- Teaching roles require Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
