A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Kingston upon Thames is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. Key Responsibilities
- Provide consistent and effective 1:1 support for a pupil with identified SEND needs.
- Support learning within the classroom and during wider school activities.
- Implement strategies and interventions under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCo.
- Promote independence, engagement and positive behaviour.
- Build a trusting and supportive relationship with the pupil.
- Work collaboratively with school staff, parents and external professionals.
