Are you passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the team at an Ealing Primary School from September 2026. This school is a vibrant, inclusive and highly regarded primary school committed to providing an engaging and supportive learning environment where every child can thrive.

The Role

  • Support pupils within the classroom to access learning and make progress.
  • Work with small intervention groups to develop literacy, numeracy and confidence.
  • Provide 1:1 support for lower-attaining pupils and those requiring additional guidance.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Help pupils develop independence, resilience and a love of learning.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has experience working with primary-aged children (school-based experience is desirable).
  • Is confident supporting learning both in class and through small-group interventions.
  • Is comfortable working 1:1 with lower-ability pupils.
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is patient, proactive and enthusiastic about helping children succeed.
  • Can work effectively as part of a team.
